OBJECTIVES
To increase skill in and ability to teach:
Searching for evidence using the latest electronic EBM resources.
Critically appraising evidence using newly revised formats.
PROGRAM
Small group tutorials will focus on topics of particular interest to participants.
Experienced faculty Previously taught at McMaster and elsewhere Respected nationally and internationally for their efforts in advancing the practices of EBM
Ample time each day for hands-on experience in the computer lab, with access to numerous databases and EBM resources.
Curriculum posted on the Centers for Health Evidence (CHE) website, a novel resource, enhances the workshop experience.
An innovative 4-hour work assignment using the CHE site before the workshop. This online assignment reviews key concepts in EBM. Pre and Post-workshop online assignments uses the CHE website.

ACCREDITATION
The New York Academy of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education to physicians.
The New York Academy of Medicine designates this continuing medical education activity for 25.0 credit hours in Category 1 of the Physicians' Recognition award of the American Medical Association.
